Southeast Land Trust (SELT)

My association with the Southeast Land Trust (SELT) began when my husband and I renovated a 100-year-old barn on the Massacre Marsh in Rye, NH, conservation land protected by SELT. In 2009, I donated a painting to the SELT Annual Fall Auction and Fundraiser. For the Fall 2014 event, I created a series of four paintings titled Diane's Flowers. Each painting, measuring 20" x20", was brilliant in color and dynamic in composition, reflecting the person they honored--Diane Ramsey Forsyth, a dedicated friend and founding Board member of SELT. Inspired by flowers in her gardens, each painting represented an enduring quality that Diane cultivated in those who knew her: Strength, Grace, Compassion, and Joy (see Realistism).
